China – Innovation the new driving force for growth
Technology is at the center of China’s 13th Five Year Plan, as the Chinese government has launched a national strategy make China a technology and innovation-driven economy by 2020. Big Data Applications and Brain Research are two of the 10 science priorities set in this plan. This has, of course, major implications for the research industry in China, and by extention we would argue, the world, and presents us with a great opportunity, but also significant challenges. CMRA, China Marketing Research Association, is rising to this challenge and helping its members understand and take advantage of the opportunities. One of the ways CMRA is doing this is through their biennial Conference.
