2017 marks the first quarter century of the AMAI, the organization that originally emerged to be the institutional center for the Mexican communities in market, opinion and communication research;  it now encompasses the wider field of data generation and processing for decision-making, with 70 corporate members as of August 2017.
AMAI Mexico turns 25
Besides having a celebratory happening, the AMAI plans a chain of events to mark the milestone: special editions of its annual congress and its quarterly digital magazine; an update of its celebrated index of classification of homes; professional meetings in cities of Mexico in which they receive for the first time this type of events. In addition: a meeting of international reflections for what has been our industry in the last 25 years and what could be expected for the next quarter century.
ITS TIME FOR THE PROFESSIONAL EVENTS SEASON IN LATIN AMERICA
With August, the largest number of events in the Latin American region began. This year is no exception. Towards the end of that month, TALK-In 17, the conference organized jointly by two associations: APEIM (research companies) and ANDA (advertisers) will be presented in Lima, Peru. [www.andaperu.pe/eventos/business/talkin17-insights-innovation-and-intelligence/] A few days later in Bogotá, Colombia will happen INVESTIGACTION 2017, presented by ACEI [www.investigaction.acei.co] Things will continue in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which this year becomes the site for IIeX LatAm, a joint initiative of Greenbook, CEIM (the local Association of research companies) and ARIA. [www.iiex-la.insightinnovation.org] Finally, in October in Mexico City, AMAI will present the 24th edition of its annual congress, now under the general label: ideasAMAI® 2017 [www.amai.org] It will be a banquet of content, experiences and coexistence for our colleagues from that region of the world.
